Coolroom Installer
Full Time Role.
Qualifications & Experience
- Any experience within the construction sector is an advantage, but get in touch if you would like the opportunity to learn a different trade within the coolroom industry.
- Reliable transport and a full drivers licence is required.
- Forklift, scissor-lift / boom-lift certificates would be a bonus, but not essential as training will be provided.
- Must be physically fit and strong and able to conduct heavy lifting.
- Ability to adapt and learn with minimal supervision.
- Team player.
- NZ citizen or valid work permit.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Insulated Panel Work: This can range from but is not limited to the design/build of coolrooms, construction of chillers/freezers, kitset rooms, process areas, repairs and maintenance work, demolition/relocation.
- Panel Door Manufacturing: To have the ability to manufacture coolroom doors, installation of doors, to carry out repairs and maintenance on doors.
- General workshop: Light fabrication and fitting, not afraid to be hands on and help out around the yard on quiet days, unloading trucks when necessary.
- Operate forklift, boom lift, scissor lift and other equipment when required.
- Ability to work in the occasional cold environments.
- Able to work on jobs that are out of town.
